JAMES GOODRUM, President

Mr. Goodrum serves as President for Cape Hope Investments, where he oversees the development and operations of the company. Prior to joining Cape Hope, Mr. Goodrum served as Marketing Director and later President of New Hope Holding Co., which was responsible for the conception, construction and operation of the Pelican Bay Hotel as well as other business concerns on Grand Bahama Island. Mr. Goodrum moved to the Bahamas in 1993 from Dallas, Texas, where he was a management consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Axiom Consulting. In his previous work, Mr. Goodrum assisted in developing and implementing strategic plans for executive management in Fortune 1000 companies.

Mr. Goodrum holds a B.B.A. from Texas Tech and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

 

GITTE GOODRUM, Vice President

Mrs. Goodrum serves as Vice President of Cape Hope. She is responsible for in-house legal and oversees the financial aspects of the company. Mrs. Goodrum is the founder of the Lucaya International School and remains as the Chairman of the Board. She moved to Grand Bahama from Dallas where she worked as in-house legal counsel to public and private companies, including real estate concerns.

Mrs. Goodrum earned an M.B.A. and a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University. She is a member of the Texas and California Bar Associations.
